DMCA Policy

PinPosts respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users, commenters, and contributors to do the same. This policy explains how to report content you believe infringes your copyright, in line with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).

A note on what we actually host

As stated in our Terms & Conditions, PinPosts does not host, distribute, or provide download links for any game files, APKs, ROMs, or software. The content on this site is editorial — articles, images, and commentary. Most copyright concerns we’d realistically receive relate to an image, a quoted passage, or similar text/media content, not software.

How to file a takedown notice

If you believe content on PinPosts infringes your copyright, send a notice to admin@pinposts.com that includes:

  1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or someone authorized to act on their behalf.
  2. A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
  3. The exact URL(s) of the material on PinPosts you claim is infringing, with enough detail for us to locate it.
  4. Your contact information — name, email address, and (if possible) phone number or mailing address.
  5. A statement that you have a good faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  6. A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the above information is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf.

Notices missing this information may not be actionable — we’ll let you know if something’s missing.

What happens next

Once we receive a complete notice, we’ll review it in good faith and, if valid, remove or disable access to the material promptly. We’ll also notify the person who posted the content (where applicable — e.g., a commenter) that it was removed.

Counter-notification

If your content was removed and you believe this was a mistake or misidentification, you can send a counter-notice to admin@pinposts.com including:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature.
  2. Identification of the material removed and where it appeared before removal.
  3. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
  4. Your name, address, phone number, and a statement consenting to the jurisdiction of a court for legal action if needed.

False claims

Please don’t file a notice unless you genuinely believe, in good faith, that your rights are being infringed. Knowingly filing a false claim can carry legal consequences for the person filing it.
